A gentle, hands-on healing practice rooted in universal life force energy.
Reiki (pronounced ray-key) is a Japanese energy healing practice that channels universal life force energy to support the body, mind, and spirit. It is a complementary wellness modality used alongside — never in place of — traditional medical or mental health care.
The word Reiki comes from two Japanese characters: Rei, meaning universal or spiritual wisdom, and Ki, meaning life force energy. Together, Reiki translates as “spiritually guided life force energy.”
During a Reiki session, the practitioner places their hands lightly on or just above the body, allowing this gentle, supportive energy to flow where it is most needed. Clients remain fully clothed and simply rest, breathe, and receive.
Reiki does not require belief to be effective. Many clients describe sessions as a deep exhale for the nervous system — a return to a softer, more grounded version of themselves.
